Mervin Symes Sr. passed away peacefully May 7, 2019 at the age of 78 surrounded by family. He passed away as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident April 18, 2019. He was born in Smith’s Corner, New Brunswick the oldest son of the late Clarence and Edna (Heskett) Symes.

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Gary Allen Ruff of Upper Kent which occurred on Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born June 9, 1948 in Bath he was the son of Freda (Anderson) Ruff and the late Rev. John Ruff, Gary was also predeceased by the mother of his children, Carolyn (Gibson) Ruff.

Ross Kirkpatrick 1927 – 2019

Kirkpatrick, Ross Estey It is with sadness that the family of Ross Kirkpatrick of Hoyt, NB, announce his passing at the Oromocto Public Hospital on January 16, 2019.  Ross was born in Sandbrook, NB on  December 26, 1927. He was the son of the late Elizabeth (Whittaker) and Estey Kirkpatrick and husband to his late wife Lois Vella (Waddell) Kirkpatrick of 68 years.

 

Ross is survived by his daughter; Sharon (Kevin) Darrah, his son Wayne (Gaye) Kirkpatrick, sister; Lillian Perkins, six grandchildren: Sarah (Gary) Huggard, David (Tracey) Kirkpatrick, Daniel (Holly) Kirkpatrick, Stephen Kirkpatrick (Asia Cormier), Amanda Albright (Fred McCoullough), Kyle (Nicole) Mitchell, ten great grandchildren; Madeline and Shane Huggard, Braxton and Corbin Kirkpatrick, Daisy Kirkpatrick, Dexter and Isaiah Albright, Nevaeh, Eva and Harvick Mitchell, and close family friends Kay Tyerman, Shirley and Albert Welton, Reg Whittaker and several nieces and nephews.

Visitations will be held at Sunbury Funeral Home on Friday January 18, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.  The funeral will be held at Sunbury Funeral Home on Saturday January 19, 2017 at 3:00pm with Rev Jim Lewis.

Terrence John “Terry” Rorke 1952-2018

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry (TJ) Rorke on Friday, December 28th at the Palliative Care Unit at Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where visitation will be held on Thursday, January 3rd, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 – 8pm. There will not be a funeral service at Terry’s request.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Betty) Snowdon on Friday, October 19, 2018 at the age of 77. Elizabeth passed away at The Moncton Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born on July 26, 1941 in Rockville, Kings County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Eloise (Gulliver) Howe.

Ronald “Ron” Lorne Steeves 1938-2018

Ronald Lorne Steeves of Lower Coverdale passed away on Monday October 1, 2018 at the age of 80.  Born in Moncton, NB he was the son of the late Henry Lorne and Vera Steeves (Steeves).

Ron was known as Mr. AMC.  He was an avid believer of anything AMC, and would often tell you more than you needed to know.

McFARLANE RALPH J. – At the Ridgewood Veterans Wing in Saint John, NB; Ralph Joynes McFarlane, husband of Ruby ( Pearley) McFarlane formerly of Elmsville, NB. Born in Saint John, he is the son of the late William H. & Jennie (McKinley) McFarlane. 
A veteran of World War ll Ralph served in infantry with the Canadian Armed Forces.His tours of duty took him throughout France & Britain.
