Daytime light requirements for Vehicles as of Nov 1st, 2017

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

As you may have heard as of Nov 1st, 2017 there is a new requirement for daytime running lights or regular headlights be on during the day.

From the news release by the provincial government:

Also effective today, all vehicles operated on New Brunswick roadways must display daytime running lights. If a vehicle is not equipped with daytime running lights or they are inoperable, then headlights must be turned on at all times. A violation will result in a fine of $172.50 and the loss of two demerit points.

There is no mention of this excluding older vehicles, so remember to turn on your lights when out on the road.

Gary Tamblin is in the heart unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Asking for prayers for one of our Upper Valley members. Gary Tamblin is in the heart unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital waiting to have surgery. Linda is staying down here with family, to be close to Gary. For anyone thinking you may not know Gary & Linda, well if you work or visit the NBAAC Sussex Flea Market, and come in via the gate to the arena, then you have seen them there. They have their 5th wheel parked there and take registrations for overnight parking and the car show on Sunday. We wish Gary all the best for a complete recovery and hope to see him on his post again this August.

Wheeltracks Editor,
Sue
