Sponsored by NB Antique Auto Club, in partnership with the Sussex Downtown Business Association, Sussex Downtown Cruise Night will be held every second Thursday, weather permitting, from May 18 to Sept 21 2017.
All events will start at 6:00 PM..
May 18, our first Cruise Night, participants will meet at the historic Sussex Train Station on Broad St.
June 1, we will be holding Race Car Night, at our usual location behind the downtown Tim Horton’s at 638 Main St.
June 15-An evening with special sponsorship by Clark Chevrolet, Sussex. Always a great time with live band. Behind Tim Hortons.
June 29-a regular Cruise Night but in a new location: in the parking lot beside the Post Office-(60 Maple Ave.)
July 13-a Sussex SummerFest (Canada150) event in the parking lot behind Tim Hortons.
July 27-Automotive Heritage Month celebration, in the parking lot behind Tim Hortons.
August 10-Family Night-in the parking lot behind Tim Hortons..
August 24 takes us to Scotiabank on Main St. for the Celebrate Sussex Week Street Dance. Rain Date is Aug. 25. Always a fabulous mixture of music and cars
Sept 7 will be a regular Cruise Night behind Tim Hortons.
Sept 17, Sunday, from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM is the Final Cruise, in the parking lot behind Tim Hortons. Rain Date is Thursday Sept. 21 at 6:00 PM. The draw for the Grand Prizes will take place.
Major prizes have been donated again this year. Sussex Downtown Business Association have donated gift certificates worth $300.00, and Jeff Corey from Classic Auto Glass in Sussex Corner has donated another GPS. QC Pumps and Compressors has donated a BBQ, and Ormac Industrial will be donating an oil extractor. Legacy Lane Fiber Mill has donated a unique, merino and alpaca rug. All Done RV Camping has also donated a basket of camping goodies for our Grand Prize Draw.

And thanks to the Town of Sussex, the Downtown Business Association, Gary Morris, and guest entertainers.
The “Cruise Night Crew” will be returning: my wife Ann Flewelling, Paul and Sue Morrison, Tom and Alison Smith and their daughters Kira and Maranda, Jack and Ann Paterson, and Paul and Chrystal Bedford. Allen McKinney and Scott Gowling will be helping us as their schedule allows. A special thanks to Paul and Chrystal Bedford for their organizational work on Cruise Night this year.
Chrystal Bedford will be conducting the 50/50 Draw for charity each evening.
And thanks to NB Antique Auto Club, both Southeast Region and Fundy Region, Valley Cruisers, Outkast Car Club, Redneck Rodders, and Codiac Classics Car Club for promoting our event to their members.
