Edwin Murray Stiles of Tilley passed away peacefully at the Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on September 19, 2015.
Edwin was born on the Currie Road on August 19, 1935. He was the son of the late Ronald and Eva (Albert) Stiles. Edwin leaves behind his wife Dorilla Stiles (Ouellette); his daughters Diane Sturgeon of London, ON, Nancy Leclerc (Raymond) of New Denmark, Brenda LaFrance (Terry) of Tilley, Lisa Bourgoin (Ghislain) of New Denmark; his son Dale Stiles (Julia) of Anderson Road; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; his brothers Arthur Stiles of Anderson Road, Leon Stiles (Rina) of Somerville, NB. Edwin was predeceased by his parents; his infant daughter Mary Stiles; sisters Lina Neilsen and Greta Adams.
Edwin was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council # 6441. He was also a member of the New Brunswick Antique Auto Club. He was a very active member of St. Theresa’s Parish.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home in Perth-Andover with visitation on Tuesday 7-9 and on Wednesday 1-2 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 2:30 pm from St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church in Perth-Andover. Father Gilbert Doddatto will celebrate. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
